Sure, when it comes to features and picture quality, the iPhone camera can’t beat a DSLR, but as they say, “the best camera is the one that’s with you.”
It’s the adage that spurred a group of iPhone-toting photographers to action, creating a subculture known as ‘iPhoneography’, in which these photogs limit themselves to the tiny lens of a smartphone. And blogs dedicated to this emerging form are sprouting up in London and New York, reports Wired.com.
The tech website has even launched a smartphone photography contest in response to this, inviting users to upload pictures that have been shot and edited exclusively with any smartphone model.
